Fitur, the International Tourism Trade Fair, celebrates its 39th staging from 23 – 27 January, 2019 | Feria de Madrid.

Fitur , the International Tourism Trade Fair, is a global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Ibero American markets, to be held from January 23 – 27, 2019. The companies represent at the fair include hotels, tourist boards, tour operators, system providers, airlines and car rental companies. It provides a unique opportunity to look behind the curtain of the global tourism industry. The Fitur covers all aspects of travel and tourism: countries, tour operators, booking system developers, airlines, hotels and other businesses concerned with tourism, present their ideas to not only introduce themselves but also to inspire wanderlust. As the Fitur is also conceived as a B2B platform, trade visitors have ample opportunity to expand their contacts and do business.

In 2015, confirming the trend towards recovery in the industry, 9,419 exhibiting companies from 165 countries or regions, 125,084 trade participants and 97,467 people from the general public, met during Fitur. Moreover among the participation figures of note was the presence of 7,398 journalists from 60 countries, a turnout that demonstrates the importance of Fitur on the international circuit of tourism sector events.

Media India Group has been participating in Fitur for the last ten years by publishing special issue of its Spanish magazine Destino La India. The copies of the issues are widely distributed at the event. Destino La India, the magazine, is focussed on tourism, art, culture, heritage, cinema, cuisine, literature, business, etc. Launched in 2007, by the then Union Minister of Tourism India Ambika Soni, Destino La India is the only magazine focussed on India in Spanish language. Advertise with us through the magazine (advertisement or advertorial). Over 80000 copies of the magazine will be distributed at the event (at key locations) by the organizers and India Tourism. Additionally, E-MAG will be mailed to all FITUR participants and to a network of over 2000 Tour Operators in Europe. Destino la India is also one of the preferred magazines among the European Tour Operators for reference and recommendations.

The magazine will also be distributed among key European companies, Indian Embassy, India Tourism offices and the Chambers of Commerce in the EU, Government bodies, Tour operators and NRI & PIO communities.
